  While speaking in an exclusive interview with PUNCH Saturday Beats, veteran musician, Professor Linkin, came out fully for Pana crooner, Tekno for failing to acknowledge him as the original owner of the song, “Kpolongo”, which he sampled the hit song in his single, “Jogodo”.    According to Professor Linkin who laid his mind bare, Tekno settled Danfo Drivers with N2 million but ignored him.   Recall that in the song, Tekno also sampled some lines from a song originally done by a music duo from Ajegunle named Danfo Drivers. Tekno and Danfo Drivers   After being attacked for not getting permission to use ‘Jogodo’ in his song, rave of the moment artiste, Tekno reportedly used N2 million to settle Danfo Drivers who complained over the matter.   This revelation was made by Nigerian musician, Prof. Linkin who has also laid claim to the word ‘Jogodo’ saying that he released his album in 2003 with the title.   In an exclusive chat with Saturday Beats, Prof. Linkin said his issue with Tekno is far from being over till the artiste also acknowledges him as the originator of the word, Jogodo, which was the name of his album in 2003.   He told Saturday Beats that he heard rumours that the Danfo Drivers were placated with N2m for the song when they raised dust.   The accident scene in question   A reckless Danfo driver, speeding along the opposite direction of traffic, an act popularly referred to as “one-way”, had an head-on collision with a Toyota Hiace bus entering Lagos.   This accident occured on the opposite side of the scene of yesterday’s tanker fire.   The buses have been moved from obstruction while wounded passengers have been hospitalized.   See more photos:      

  The driver with no legs   A Twitter user identified simply as KenniiPeperempe (@aburoPosh), has taken to the social networking platform to post the photos of a commercial bus driver who plies his trade in the city of Lagos, but without his legs.   Kenni who was left in shock after she entered the danfo bus where the driver got no legs, said that she entered the bus on her way to town from Ojota.   She posted the photos and wrote; “Y’all so the other day, I got into this Danfo from Ojota to Town Planning b/stop and behold the driver.”   See more photos below!

Tekno posing with Mad Melon and Mountain Black   Two Nigerian musicians Don Jazzy and BankyW have reacted after Tekno and Danfo Drivers (Mad Melon and Mountain Black) reconciled after they called out Tekno for sampling their song ‘Kpolongo’ without getting permission from them.    Tekno’s management had reacted saying that they reached out to the singers but got no feedback. However, in a surprising move, Tekno met with the musicians indicating that the matter has been settled.   Reacting, Don Jazzy and BankyW applauded Tekno for the move. The duo commented on Tekno’s Instagram page with clap emojis.
