  Proud rescuers pose for photos after plucking little Ganesh out of a 14ft well   The heroic moment a 4-year-old boy identified as Ganesh was rescued from a 14ft well after he had slipped and fallen into the deep hollow while playing in the village of Sikheri in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, have been captured on camera.   According to a report by Dailymail UK, the kid got stuck in a narrow shaft at the bottom of the well and had to be dug out by a team of determined villagers.     Photos from the scene of the incident which was captured by an eyewitness at the top of the well, show a group of men using tools to dig little Ganesh out of the shaft.   It was gathered that the boy’s parents, Ghan Shyam and Sangeeta Bai, were out working in the fields…

Obinna James, a young boy who is just 14 years old, from Abia State has left many totally amazed with his creativity after he constructed a fully equipped stadium Prototype.   According to the JSS 2 Student of Ableway International school in Aba, the stadium prototype was a midterm break project given to the entire class by his CCA teacher.     He constructed the stadium with local materials through the help of his elder brother, a mechanical engineering student of UNN, who helped him with finishing touches.   The stadium is well equipped with modern facilities. According to a report by The Guardian, it was a rowdy scene yesterday in Abeokuta, Ogun State, when operatives of the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad (FSARS) attached to the Ogun State Police Command assaulted a soldier thought to be a yahoo yahoo boy.   A footage shared via Instagram, Instablog9ja, showed a violent scene during the confrontation between the FSARS operatives and the soldier. The soldier, who was dressed casually, did not appear pleased following the assault that ensured his shirt was ripped.   As seen in the video, the party engaged themselves in an unfriendly conversation held close to a vehicle the soldier was driving.   “This is what SARS are doing in Abeokuta. Shamsu Abubakar, an 18-year-old boy, disguising as a lady and arrested by Police in Minna, Niger State, said he has defrauded many men who he had seduced with feminine antics, Vanguard reports.   He was arrested dressed up in a long hijab, wrapper, makeup and a pair of female leather slippers and hand bag to match.   Shamsu, who resides in Sayako community along Maitumbi Road, Minna, confessed that he had been in the trade for months and had succeeded in duping a lot of men.   Shamsu disclosed that he was selling toilet soaps and detergents on the streets of Minna for months before going into the new trade, which he said is “more lucrative, but dangerous.”   Speaking during his parade, Niger State Police Command Spokesman, ASP Muhammed Abubakar, said the suspect was arrested by Police detectives attached to ‘A’ Division of the Command in Minna, following a tip-off.…

Uke Phillip   Justice P. I Ajoku of the Federal High Court, sitting in Benin City, Edo State, on Wednesday June 13 , 2018 convicted Uke Philip Akhator for offences bordering on obtaining by fraudulent trick.   Akhator who was prosecuted by the Benin Office of the EFCC, was said to have obtained the sum of N150,000 from one Jakub Sani Mohammed by fraudulent tricks.   Upon his arraignment on a one count charge, Akhator pleaded guilty to the offence. In view of his plea, the prosecution counsel, Larry Aso Peters, urged the court to convict and sentence the defendant accordingly.   In his response, defence counsel, Padro Egharevba pleaded with the court to tamper justice with mercies as the defendant was a first time offender who has become remorseful since he was arrested and has also promised to desist from such despicable act.   Justice Ajoku after listening to…

  File photo   A 45-year-old man, identified as Achibulu Paul, who lures minors to his apartment used as illegal blood bank in the Shomolu area of Lagos, where he collects their blood and sells to hospitals, has been arrested by the Police in Lagos.   According to a report by Vanguard, at the end of each collection, the suspect who engages in the illegal act until last Saturday, would give the minors N2,000.   It was gathered that one of the minors collapsed after the suspect collected six pints of blood from him.   Just few days after complaining of being chased by ghosts, a notorious area boy has reportedly stabbed himself to death in the Bariga area of Lagos.   It was gathered that the man identified as God’s Time, killed himself on Monday at the Odunsi area of Bariga.    Online reports revealed that the deceased was notorious in the area and was a member of the popular Eiye confraternity in the axis.

  File Photo   Peter Toluwabori, an alleged internet fraudster, was on Monday remanded at the Kirikiri Prisons in Lagos by an Ikeja Special Offences Court for allegedly destroying some evidence to be used by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).   Toluwabori, 26, whose address was not given, was remanded by Justice Mojisola Dada, following his “not-guilty’’ plea to a two-count charge of destroying evidence and aiding crime.   “This case is adjourned until June 26 for trial and the defendant shall be remanded in prison custody,” Dada said.   According to Mrs Zainab Ettu, the prosecuting counsel for the EFCC, the defendant committed the offence on April 10 in Ikeja, Lagos.   “The defendant destroyed his android phone, an MTN SIM no. 08100994395 and a Globacom SIM no. 08073175280. “He willfully destroyed the items to avoid them being used as evidence against him in a judicial proceeding.…
