APC Crisis Worsens as Imo Governorship Candidate Missing on INEC List

The looming crisis in the All Progressive Congress has worsened as governorship candidate, , is reportedly missing on INEC list.

This is following the publication of candidates list by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Punch had reported that 67 governorship candidates and their respective running mates were published by the commission at its Owerri office, but the name of Senator Uzodima was absent.

According to INEC, the omission was because the commission received a court injunction stopping it from publishing the name of candidate pending the time the case would be settled.

Candidates who are on the INEC lists are a former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), of the Independent Party (IP) and a former Senator, Ifeanyi Araraume of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Female governorship candidate in the list include Omeogu Chidiebere of African Action Congress (AAC) Joy Udodiri of (MMN) and Adaku Ibe of the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP)
