Troops Repel Boko Haram Attack in Borno

Troops of have reportedly repelled an attack by the terrorist group in Local Government Area, state, on Tuesday, November 27.

Reports from the News Agency of Nigeria () states that the Army made the disclosure on its Twitter handle.

According to the statement, the troops repelled the insurgents’ attack while attempting to infiltrate Cross-Kauwa in Kukawa at about 8pm, adding that it would provide details on the attack later.

The Army wrote: “Troops of 157 Strike Force Battalion at about 8 p.m. today (Nov. 27) 2018; repelled some elements of Boko Haram terrorists who attempted to infiltrate Cross-Kauwa in Kukawa local government area of Borno, details later.”
