According to reports from Premium Times, its report is based on interaction with top police chiefs and presidency sources.

“We have a new police IG. Ibrahim Idris has gone home to move his things from the official quarters and we are now waiting for a formal handing over,” a senior officer said on Monday January 14 as quoted by Premium Times.

The report included that presidency sources also confirmed the development in separate exchanges.

The soon to be police boss is currently a directing staff member at the National Institute of policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, near Jos, Plateau state.
