President Muhammadu Buhari has on Thursday November 15 received the Rotary Polio Champion Award.
The award was presented to him by the Rotary International President who is in the country for a four days visit, Barry Rassin at the presidential villa in Abuja.
According to a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the award was given to the President in recognition of his commitment to polio eradication in Nigeria.
